The need continues to reduce the burden on local emergency and critical care systems, as well as to enhance the facilities and equipment offered by such systems. As such, the Stark Foundation has provided grant funding for programs that provide care, treatment, medications and overall assistance to uninsured and underinsured individuals for medical and dental services as well as for the purchase of equipment and facilities that are key to the delivery of such services. Recipients include the University of Texas Medical Branch, Texas Children’s Hospital, UT Health Science Center, and Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital - Orange.
